DEPARTMENT OF IMMUNOLOGY

The main field of research in this department concerns the development of T lymphocytes from hematopoietic stem cells. The ongoing projects are: (1) cellular and molecular mechanisms of the lineage commitment of stem cells; (2) mechanisms of the early T cell development in the thymus; (3) mechanisms of immunological tolerance in the thymus; (4) mechanisms of cell growth and death.
