| Department of Development and Differentiation 受精卵から胎児への胚発生では未分化細胞から様々な細胞系列への分化が起きるが、そのなかで中心的役割を果たすのが幹細胞と呼ばれる細胞集団である。発生分化研究分野では、生殖細胞系列や多能性幹細胞に注目し、分子・細胞・個体レベルの解析を駆使して次のような研究を行っている。（１）マウス生殖系列細胞の発生分化機構、（２）生殖細胞、ES細胞のゲノム維持、相同組換え機構。 This laboratory analyzes functions of stem cells and cell differentiation in mammalian embryogenesis using molecular and cellular approaches. Particular attention is paid to the germ cell lineage and pluripotent stem cells. (1) Molecular and cellular mechanisms of development and differentiation of mammalian germ cells. (2) Nuclear reprogramming of somatic cells by hybridization with embryonic stem cells. (3) Molecular mechanisms to control neural development and neuronal differentiation. |
